ROD GRUSY WINS 2009 JACK SNYDER AWARD Recognized at the meeting was the 2009 recipient of the Jack Snyder Award, Mr. Rod Grusy. The award is given in recognition of outstanding lifetime achievement in the pursuit of relations between the rural and urban communities of Hardin County. NOON ROTARY SPEECH CONTEST
The Elizabethtown Noon Rotary Club hosted their annual speech competition for area students at its regular club meeting on January 20, 2009. This year's theme was "Make Dreams Real." This year's contest winner was Samantha Adams. Here she is congratulated by contest coordinator & Rotarian Val Claycomb. Samantha is home schooled and represents the Faith Home School Association. Samantha received a $200 check from the club and goes on to the area competition.
