District conference

The purpose of the district conference is to advance the Object of Rotary through fellowship, inspirational addresses, and the discussion of matters of importance to Rotary clubs and Rotary International. The conference showcases Rotary programs and successful district and club activities. For Rotarians, the conference is an inspirational celebration and an opportunity to enjoy fellowship.

Presidents-elect Training Seminar (PETS)

The presidents-elect training seminar helps presidents-elect prepare for their year as club president. The meeting is an opportunity for incoming club presidents to build strong working relationships with their district governor-elect and incoming assistant governors.

Who participates: Club presidents-elect

Recommended time frame: Annual one-and-a-half-day seminar in March

ELIZABETHTOWN ROTARY WINS DISTRICT AWARDS

The Elizabethtown Rotary received the District 6710 2010-2011 Largest Increase in Giving Per Captia and the 2010-2011 STAR Award representing $100 or more Per Capita giving from Dave Weller, Rotary Foundation General Chair. ROTARY SPEECH CONTEST

The Rotary Speech Contest was held at the regular Elizabethtown Rotary Club meeting on March 1, 2011.  Participating were: Left to right, Jakob Burnham, contest winner Arsh Hague - Elizabethtown High School, event organizer Rotarian Kelly Emerine and Logan Roberts.

 

ELIZABETHTOWN ROTARY WELCOMES ANOTHER NEW MEMBER

Tee Mascaniai is pinned as a new member of the Elizabethtown Rotary Club on December 21.  Tee is the property manager at Towne Mall.
